Brittiska Pet Shop Boys (med Neil Tennant och Chris Lowe) är nu i full gång med att skriva låtar och ta fram idéer till bandets elfte (ännu ej titulerade) studioalbum som är planerat för släpp under hösten 2012.
Under tiden släpper man “Format”, som samlar remastrade b-sidor från singelsläpp gjorda mellan 1996-2009. Samlingen följer upp “Alternative” från 1995 (som innehöll b-sidorna mellan 1984-1995).
Som en extra bonus innehåller bookleten en intervju med bandet signerad författaren Jon Savage som är känd för bland annat Sex Pistols-biografin “England’s Dreaming” (2001) och “Teenage: The Creation of Youth Culture” (2007).
“Format” släpps den 6 februari via Parlophone.
