Ytterligare två liveinspelningar direkt från mixerborden under “World Violation Tour” tillåts nu nå allmänheten, efter att ha cirkulerat i privata kretsar ett tag. Depeche Modes Alan Wilder hade följande att berätta för Side-Line Magazine;

“If we had wanted to record and release a live disc from that tour, we could have recorded any of the shows and then would have replaced any errors or vocals that weren’t up to scratch. If this recording is just off the desk, or a rough mix for reference, there was no intention to release it.”

De inspelningar som cirkulerat ett tag gjordes i San Francisco och Los Angeles under 1990. Källorna är troligtvis inspelningar som bandet gjort för att kolla av kvaliteten av mixningen.

“World Violation Tour” startade i Florida, USA i slutet av maj 1990, för att sedan avslutas i augusti i Los Angeles, Efter detta gjorde bandet gjorde en bejublad udda spelning i Sydney, Australien följt av sex konsertdatum i Japan under september. Turnén är bland hardcorefansen den mest eftertraktade på bootlegmarknaden av inspelningar då bandet själva aldrig gjorde några officiella liveinspelningar från den. Alan Wilder berättar mer för Side-Line Magazine;

“Remember we had not long released ‘101’ so no-one in the band camp would have been keen on doing another live album at that time. They are much more commonplace these days with the obligatory ‘live’ DVD post every tour etc. In those days, people didn’t do them so nearly so readily.”

Turnén innehöll ett sedvanligt akustiskt framförande av Martin Gore med följande låtar;
